Blush Bridal - Vera Wang - Sweet Pea Photography

Blush Bridal has always been synonymous for high end, beautiful wedding gowns in Vancouver.  They recently went through several BIG changes... a brand new owner, Monti Samuel and a fabulous new location in Yaletown!  With Vera Wang's stunning new gowns in town for a trunk show, it was the perfect opportunity to showcase them against the background of the store's new location in the dynamic neighbourhood of Yaletown.

The gowns were incredible and it was such fun to photograph them with our amazing models, Crystal and Alison of John Casablancas International Model Management.  The always lovely and talented Denise Elliott worked her magic on our models and brought our vision to life.

Nargess Tabrizy Shokrani - Fleur de Lis Events - Vancouver Family Photo Shoot

  What a fun day I had recently photographing the beautiful Nargess of Fleur de Lis Events and her fabulous family!  She and her husband have been blessed with two awesome boys.  They were full of energy and we had a lot of laughs watching them run around and do what little boys love to do!

Nargess and her hubby are such beautiful people, both on the inside as well as out.  I missed out on photographing their wedding years ago, so I was happy to finally have a chance to photograph them together!

I simply LOVE this next series of shots.  It was my idea to capture a few images of the boys with no shirts on when they were in between changing shirts... I thought they looked like such cute young men when they are standing with their hands in their pockets.  Or not... boys will be boys, of course!

Chloe and Jesse and baby Russell! Vancouver Baby Photography

A few years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous wedding of Chloe and Jesse... two of my favourite clients who are beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.

These two have now added a beautiful baby boy, Russell to their family and I was thrilled to meet him and photograph the new family in the studio recently!

I am very excited to photograph Samantha and Spencer's wedding this August up at Grouse Mountain.  These two are so perfect for each other, they are the definition of young love.  We had an awesome time last summer photographing the two of them and their sweet little pups... Sam had chosen the location for their photo shoot as it was the location of their actual engagement... this made it extra special when Spencer was sweet enough to re-enact it for us!

Vancouver Engagement Shoot - Jenny and Riley

I love my job.  Every once in awhile, I meet a couple who are so relaxed together and have such amazing chemistry... well, they make my job very easy.  Jenny and Riley were one of those couples.  These two are the definition of young and in love.  As evidenced by the following photos...

Ashley and Ryan Vancouver Engagement Photo Shoot

There is a wonderful bridal salon in West Vancouver called Blush Bridal and I have had the pleasure of photographing many Blush brides over the years... I recall a conversation I had quite awhile back with Lorna, the owner of Blush who told me her daughter, Ashley had seen her friend's wedding photos I had taken and told her Mom, "that is who I want to photograph my wedding when I get married!". Here we are, many years later and guess who is engaged to be married? I was very excited to finally meet Ashley and her handsome fiance, Ryan a few weeks ago. They were in town for a visit from Washington, D.C. where they currently live and work. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and hanging out at Lorna's beautiful home and photographing Ashley and Ryan together in the garden... before heading down to the beach for some more photos, and even a little champagne to celebrate!

Ashley, you and Ryan are adorable together and I can't WAIT to photograph your wedding next year!
